Mental Health Promotion

Mental Health Promotion is at the core of what we do, helping Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) to improve the wellbeing and mental health of their population.  We do this by working with  PCTs on their Mental Health Promotion plans, providing advice, guidance and support, running free conferences and seminars and producing measurement tools.

A review of plans

Current projects include a London wide review (due late 2009) of all PCT Mental Health Promotion plans.  Following this review, the best ideas from across London will be pulled together in a time saving template that will make it easier and quicker for PCTs to write, share and implementtheir Mental Health Promotion Plan.

Mental Health Scorecard

Working for Wellness have a project underway with the London Health Observatory to create mental health scorecards for each London PCT.  These scorecards provide information on the mental health services provided and enable PCTs to track their progress and identify gaps in service. The current scorecards can be found at the London Health Observatory.
