Mental Health Programme

Our main aims are to improve the quality of life of people of all ages who experience mental distress and to develop the capacity, skills and knowledge of provider and commissioning organizations.

There are three strategic priorities for the LDC team:

• System Transformation – so that the overall system of mental health care enables the provision of efficient and effective care and treatment
• Workforce Development – so that there are sufficient staff, with the right skills, experience and leadership to provide the services needed
• Changes in practice – so that people have rapid access to the best possible care

Commissioned by the NHS we help at the London Development Centre help all those involved in mental health to implement positive change, providing a gateway to learning and development, offering new opportunities to share experiences and a focal point for finding information.
