Data briefings

The mental health commissioning team has developed a series of briefing notes. The briefings have been produced following requests from mental health commissioners for more comparative information to facilitate benchmarking between PCTs. They will include data, shown by PCT, on the number of people accessing mental health services, the proportions of inpatient and community care and rates of formal detentions, diagnoses, the type of service received and workforce.

Further reports will be produced in September comparing admissions via Accident and Emergency departments, prescribing of psychiatric drugs and spend on mental health services. They will be available on this website.
