An update on Children and Young People's PbR was given by Kathryn Pugh, CAMHS Regional Development Worker for the London Children and Families Programme at Commissioning Support for London.
Dr Mo Zoha, Consultant Psychiatrist at St Charles Hospital gave a presentation on the clinician's perspective on HoNOS PbR. Dr Zoha is also Trust Lead for Clinical Effectiveness and an Hon Senior Lecturer in Psychological Medicine at Imperial College.
Danijela Levarda, Senior Project Officer for MUS & Involvement at Commissioning Support for London, gave a presentation on the MUS project and pilot being undertaken across London.

Wellbeing and Population Mental Health: a look at the emerging evidence and the possible implications for local work
Gregor Henderson, Wellbeing and Population Mental Health Programme Lead at the National Mental Health Development Unit (NMHDU) gave a verbal presentation on wellbeing and population mental health. He lead a discussion where each of the commissioners where asked to describe the work being done in their patch on mental health promotion and prevention.

Jacquie Foster, Head of the Commissioning Skills Development team for CSL gave a presentation on the Commissioning Skills programme and how it can benefit commissioners.
Sean Farran, Mental Health Commissioning Lead for CSL, gave an update on the work currently being undertaken in collaboration with CSL's Informatics team to produce a mental health KPI dashboard.
Sean also informed the group of the draft Care Homes Contract that has been issued by the Department of Health. The draft contract is currently out for comment. Attached below is the letter from the DH concerning the new contract along with the draft contract and comments template. Please note that any comments should be made on the comments template and sent to contractshelp@dh.gsi.gov.uk by 6th September.

Update on personalisation pilot
Kevin Lewis, Personalisation Programme Lead for the National Mental Health Development Unit (NMHDU) gave an update on the personal health budget pilots. 20 pilot sites, eight of which are mental health, are now underway. Feedback from CQUINs meeting at NHS London and issues to be considered for next year's regional indicators
Sean Farran gave feedback on the CQUINs Focus Group meeting which took place at NHS London on 31st August. The revised format of the 2010/11 physical health indicators will be sent out to commissioners as soon as it is availble. Dr Mo Ali, GP in Harrow and primary care lead for the Mental Health project gave a GP’s perspective of providing and commissioning mental health services in anticipation of the changing landscape of mental health commissioning. He also gave an update on the work that is now underway on the review of mental health services in London.
Sean Farran, Mental Health Commissioning Lead at CSL and Janice Woodruff, Service Development Manager for Westminster PCT gave an update on the development of London-wide CQUINs and the latest news from the SHA.
Update on local CQUIN development
Susan Field, Joint Mental Health Commissioner for Lambeth PCT and Paul Calaminus, Service Director for South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, gave a presentation on the development of CQUINs locally. They spoke about their experiences and what they had learned whilst developing CQUINs in the south east sector from a commissioner and provider perspective.
