Older Prisoners Toolkit

In October 2007, Department of Health published Pathways to Care for Older Offenders; A Toolkit for Good Practice. In London, we consulted with Wandsworth HMP, Brixton HMP and Holloway HMP to gather views on the portability of the guidance to London prisons. There was much support for the guidance in its current form and also some valuable suggestions for improvements that will be incorporated. Working in collaboration with CSIP South West, national road shows will be held to communicate this new guidance.
