London Youth Offending Teams Mental Health Mapping
The mapping of CAMHS YOT health workers in London was completed over the Summer 2009. You can view this or download this report by clicking HERE
The aim of the report was to provide a London wide baseline with regard to specialist staff in teams, information about case vulnerabilities and offence profile, supervision and support and to identify gaps and training needs. Partnerships are asked to consider the report and look at the comparative information to identify how services to this challenging and vulnerable group can be improved. One key gap which has been identified is services for young people with a 'forensic' profile who are at risk of committing violent crimes or ones involving sexual abuse.
Time for Action - Project Oracle
Project Oracle aims to improve the lives of all children living in the capital. It seeks to improve commissioning and service delivery across London by helping to identify and share good practice, and will make high quality information about effective interventions that really work as a guide to funding decisions.
Project Oracle is one of the six projects in Time for Action - the Mayor's first step in preventing youth violence and improving youth opportunity over the long term.
The project is inviting people to participate in the development of an evaluation toolkit.
